Return Policy Overview

At Genesis Stones, every piece is selected or crafted with intention. Because we offer loose diamonds, made-to-order engagement rings, and fully bespoke designs, return eligibility varies by product type. Please review the details below carefully.

 

To Return a Purchase:

To make a return, simply contact our Customer Service team, at returns@genesisstones.com, who will provide you with a prepaid and fully insured FedEx 2-day shipping return label and return authorization number via email.

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours to receive your return label. Once your returned item is shipped, it should arrive at our facility within two business days, excluding weekends and holidays. All refunds will be processed within two weeks and credited back to your original payment method, unless noted otherwise. Your return must be dropped off at a FedEx location. Please do not leave your package unattended in a FedEx drop box. Once your returned item is shipped, it should arrive at our facility within two business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Please note: All returns will be inspected and verified upon delivery to our facility. Returned items must be sent back to Genesis Stones in their original packaging and in their original condition. Any item received at our facility that is damaged, or not in its original packaging will be shipped back to the customer with no refund issued.

Please note: Returns must be received at our facility by the 30th day of their return period and no later. Any item received after the 30-day return window will be shipped back to the customer with no refund issued. Returns are limited to two returns per customer/household per year.

⚠️ Returns or exchanges sent without using our provided label will be returned to sender. 

Once your return label is issued, your package must be scanned by FedEx within 7 days. Returns received after the 30-day window will not be accepted and will be sent back to you. 

 

Loose Diamonds & Natural Gemstones

30-Day Risk-Free Returns

We offer a 30-day return window on loose diamonds & natural gemstones.

To be eligible for a refund:

  • The return must be initiated within 30 days of confirmed delivery.

  • The diamond must be received back at Genesis Stones within 30 days of the original delivery date.

  • The diamond and/or gemstone must be in original, unaltered condition.

  • All original grading reports and documentation must be included.

 

Ring Builder Engagement Rings

(Engagement Settings and Completed Rings)

Made-to-Order – Final Sale Once Production Begins

  • Engagement rings created through our Ring Builder are made specifically for you based on your selected diamond, setting, metal type, and ring size.
  • Because each ring is mounted and handcrafted to order, Ring Builder engagement rings are considered final sale once production has begun.

 

Before we begin production, we confirm:

  • Diamond or Gemstone selection

  • Ring size

  • Setting details

  • Metal choice

We strongly encourage reviewing your selections carefully prior to approval.

While these pieces are final sale, your purchase is protected by:

  • One complimentary resize within 30 days of delivery (standard sizing range applies)

  • 30-day craftsmanship warranty covering manufacturing defects

  • Direct support from our team for fit or comfort adjustments

Our goal is to ensure your ring is exactly as envisioned before it is crafted.

Loose diamonds are not eligible for return once mounted into a setting.

 

Bespoke & Design Consultation Pieces

Fully Custom – Final Sale

Pieces created through our bespoke design process are fully custom and crafted from scratch based on your unique specifications.

Due to the personalized and one-of-a-kind nature of these designs:

  • All bespoke pieces are final sale.

  • Returns, exchanges, and cancellations are not available once production has begun.

Throughout the design process, we provide detailed approvals, including design confirmations and specification reviews, to ensure the final piece aligns perfectly with your vision.

All bespoke pieces are covered under our Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty.

 

Additional Non-Refundable Items:

Custom eternity rings and jewelry, including engagement rings and wedding bands, cannot be returned or exchanged. These items are final sale.

Engraved jewelry items, excluding engagement rings and wedding bands, cannot be returned or exchanged. These items are final sale.

Any special orders or custom requests, excluding engagement rings and wedding bands, cannot be returned or exchanged. These items are final sale.
